Crochet: Cup Cozy

Another cup cozy? Yes. Not only can I no longer handle a little bit of coffee cup heat on my hands but I’m also a cup cozy fiend. After I figured out how to knit a cozy, a crochet version wasn’t too far behind. I actually like the crochet version more. Crochet is generally thicker, which amps up the hand protecting factor. It also makes for a quicker project. I’ve limited myself to one so far, but I can see this becoming a project that I’ll create to excess (along with my many hats and headbands).

Crochet Cup Cozy | Yarn, Things, Etc.I’m already planning my next variation of this project with crochet ribbing. While I don’t mind the mesh effect of half-double crochet, I think that a combination of front and back post will give it more of a sweater vibe. Obviously I take my cozies very seriously.
