Knit: Cup Cozies

It’s absolutely no secret that I love coffee. If I’m awake, I want coffee. One of the greatest appeals of my favourite beverage is also its worst: it’s so dang hot! Thankfully most coffee shops tackle that issue/benefit with convenient coffee sleeves. Most do, but my favourite coffee chain does not—thus, cup cozies!

Cup cozies are another quick project, so I have quite a few of them and likely more to come. They are also a great way to use up any extra yarn and experiment with new techniques. You’ll see that I went a little crazy here and tried my hand at Fair Isle.

I don’t think that I’d have the guts to attempt Fair Isle on a hat or sweater—if I had the guts to attempt a sweater in the first place. A cute little cup cozy gives me my Fair Isle fix without any frustration. Best of all, weaving more yarn into the pattern thickens the cozy. Pattern disclaimer: I’m not a pro, so the instructions might be a bit wonky. I hope you enjoy one of my favourite projects regardless!
