Crochet: Light Headband

So it’s cold here in Canada. I quite literally froze my face off this morning and I’m not 100% sure when my toes will regain circulation. This might sound like a big ‘ol whine fest but—at -31 with wind chill— I think I deserve a moment to digress.

My recent knitting obsession was followed by an even more recent love of crocheting. I find crocheting much quicker and polished. I can also achieve a project in as little as 30 mins, which is great when I don’t want to indulge in an evening of crochet (there’s something not so right about that statement, but we’ll overlook).

I find headbands to be one of my quickest and most rewarding projects. In no time at all, I can have a brand new headband to keep my ears warm in whatever yarn strikes my fancy. Next week, I’ll be crocheting a wholeheadband to deal with this insane weather (may or may not be joking).
